Summary: Very nice hotel. Unique, art deco design. Lots of good points: great location; can’t really get more central! Nice rooms, good breakfast buffet, interesting functional fitness gym, swimming pool and sauna, both infra red and traditional heat. Staff are very professional and helpful. I would happily return. The only negative points are that a lot of the design of the hotel is not particularly functional: the sauna for example is not particularly hot due to a gap in the door and the odd shape of it. The swimming pool, whilst nice, is very small, so no actual swimming, just dipping. The gluteham benches in the gym are not adjustable making them almost useless for most. The underground parking is a minotaurian maze; having a big car would be a real problem. You have to validate your parking every time you want to leave the hotel, and getting the car out, especially if you are 3 levels down, can take about 10-15 minutes, particularly if it’s a busy time. But all these are minor gripes, overall it’s a very good hotel and we enjoyed our stay.
